Cultivating Community-Stewarded Knowledge for Future Generations
Hola, I'm Darleen an educator, designer, and creative practitioner exploring how communities preserve, share, and evolve knowledge across generations.Working across education, culture, and systems change, I design learning ecosystems that strengthen connection, creativity, and collective intelligence. My work is rooted in the belief that knowledge is cultivated through relationships, stories, place, and community. For over a decade, I have partnered with schools, cultural organizations, and communities across Mexico and the United States to create programs and experiences that weave together art, ecology, culture, and interdisciplinary learning. Through curriculum design, facilitation, and creative practice, I help build environments where people can learn from one another, imagine new futures, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.I am increasingly interested in how communities steward knowledge in a rapidly changing world. From intergenerational learning and living archives to emerging technologies and decentralized systems, I explore how we can create infrastructures that support cultural memory, local agency, and collective flourishing. If you are working at the intersection of learning, culture, community, and future-making, I'd love to connect.
I work with schools, nonprofits, museums, cultural organizations, and mission-driven institutions to design:• Curriculum and learning programs • Community-centered educational experiences • Intergenerational learning initiatives
• Creative workshops and facilitation • Knowledge-sharing and cultural documentation projects • Strategic learning and engagement frameworks
